Bicycle Safety
Every day in the US, one child under the age of 14 is killed in a bike crash (usually with a car), and 1,000 children are seriously injured.
You don't have to be one of them if you practice safety on wheels.
Head injuries are the most common cause of death on wheels. Most head injuries can be prevented with a safety helmet.
If you don't have a safety helmet, ask your parents to buy you one. Make sure you wear your helmet every time you ride your bike, skate on in-line skates, skateboards, or roller-skates.
