Emphasizing the importance of a good doctor/patient relationship, Silver outlines what the patient can do to control his/her health through attitude, diet, medication, education, and exercise. He also discusses conventional and experimental therapies and in several chapters addresses specifically families and young heart patients. This is a very encouraging book, giving basic advice and positive motivation. An excellent choice for health collections.
