Family Practice
A Family Practice physician specializes in family medicine, and does not practice surgery. A Family Practice physician is educated and trained to take care of the whole family. A family physician can provide preventive care services as well as treat disorders and diseases regardless of age, sex, or type of problem. Today, a family physician may also be referred to as a "primary care physician".
